The Ardent is a fast-rolling aggressive tread wrapped around a high-volume casing. Designed with traction in mind, the large block side knobs bite in for high-speed cornering while the center tread's ramped knobs minimize rolling resistance; they're also ideally shaped for braking and accelerating traction.  This is a great aggressive XC tire for summertime conditions in and around the Dundas Valley.
